On mobility, obstacles and meeting places.
A proposal of dance, music, video and other things …
Núria Izquierdo, resident of Can Vidalet, invites us to enter into her daily landscape, listening to obstacles and meeting places: rediscovering mobility, recreating memory.
The dance emerges discreetly and subtly through moving, listening, observing.

Entra is a creative dance project based on the immersion of participants in the district of Can Vidalet, in Hospitalet, Barcelona, to conduct a critical reflection on the concepts of Obstacles and Mobility, from different perspectives. It is taking shape in different ways: creative dance, performances in public spaces and workshops with residents from the district tackling these themes through the body and work on video.
As a result of the meeting between Núria Izquierdo, resident of Can Vidalet, and Constanza Brncic, a framework is created that proposes the exploration of the body through its memory and the inscription of dance in the daily landscape.
The project is thought up and worked on from two perspectives: a peripheral vision, open to the environment; a study that examines the details of the body and its condition (state).
They move around a place together, observing the relationship between bodies and the district’s environment. Meetings, obstacles, daily interaction with the space, listening to the dynamics and movement in public spaces, the occupation of these spaces.
They examine the details and states of bodies.
Two years ago Núria had a stroke that put her into a long coma. Now she is going through the whole process of recovering her motor, perceptive and cognitive skills, reacquainting herself with a body that in a certain way has stopped being familiar, feeling like a stranger in her own body. Share this journey with Constanza, also foreign in this territory and in her body, and therefore, also in the situation of rediscovering her physical memory, her perceptive world... it offers them both the possibility of relearning themselves.
Together they move around this space in which they feel the body and the environment.
